In this letter written from Oyster Bay, New York, Theodore Roosevelt writes the Chief of Staff of the United States Army about his son, Kermit, whom he wishes to be transferred to the front line in France to be alongside his brothers during World War I. Attached to the letter is the response from Chief of Staff Peyton March to President Roosevelt that Kermit Roosevelt will report to Spain to receive further orders.
